Position SummaryReporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer transports thousands of passengers each year. As a pilot, your number one priority is to conduct each flight safely, taking into consideration the comfort of each passenger and on-time performance.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Conduct flights with strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual
 - Assist the PIC in the management and operation of the flight, including participation in the execution of all cockpit procedures
 - Fuel the airplane
 - Provide a thorough pre-flight/post flight airplane inspection on behalf of the Captain
 - Carry out take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC
 - Focus on flying skills and knowledge improvement with the intention of one day being ready to assume a Captain position
 - Load, unload and secure cargo and freight as required
 - Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot
 - Perform additional duties as assigned
 
Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
 - Commercial Pilot License (CPL) & Individual Aero plane Type Rating - Aero plane (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
 - 500 Hours Total Flight Time
 - Category 1 Medical
 - Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
 - Pilots must be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension 
 - Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
 - Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
 
Working Conditions- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
 - Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
 - Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
 - Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
