Chipton-Ross is seeking 120 CL PAINTER/BLASTER 1ST for an opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Painters have the responsibility to perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements.
• Understanding of blasting and painting specifications including but not limited to blast profiles, millage requirements, etc.
• Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision.
• Testing will consist of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontally, vertically, and side to side. 
• Able to sandblast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
• Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications. 
• Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications.

• Requires a minimum of 3 or more years of experience as a painter/blaster.
• A skill assessment will be a written and hands-on test.
• High School diploma or equivalent. Schools must be accredited.

HOURS:

• 5/40, workweek.
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to the start date.
