POSITION SUMMARY:   
Responsible for loading, unloading and moving material within the plant; comparing and verifying information on shipping and receiving paperwork; preparing material for shipment to customers and distributing received material to requesting departments; and maintaining “Stores” inventory and issuing material as requested.
Must be able to work any shift: 1st 6am - 2pm, 2nd 2pm - 10pm or 3rd 10pm - 6am
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•        Compares information and counts, weighs or measures incoming and outgoing material to verify shipping/receiving documentation.
•        Affixes labels or stencils information required on shipping containers.
•        Loads material in crates or on pallets as required.   
•        Loads material unto vehicles, either loose, crated, or on pallets.   
•        Unpacks and examines incoming material, rejects damaged items, and records shortages.
•        Move stock material to stores area and place on racks or in bins as specified.
•        Maintain systematic count of stores inventory.
•        Process requests from user areas for stores material. (picklist).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
•        Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
•        Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks and equipment operation.
•        Attention to detail in verifying and documenting operational processes.
•        Strong communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate effectively.
•        Capability to perform physical tasks involving standing, reaching, and lifting.
•        Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining safety standards.
•        Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
EDUCATION:
•        High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
•        6 months prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

•        While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.   
•        The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.   
•        Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
•        While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.   
•        The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.   
•        The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
