Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Officer
Location: Aylesbury, United Kingdom
Morson are working with a fast-growing manufacturing business who are seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety Officer to join their Production Engineering and Facilities team. This is a key role where you’ll help develop, implement, and maintain the company’s health, safety, and environmental standards while ensuring compliance with ISO45001 & ISO14001 and UK legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain EH&S policies, procedures, and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and inspections.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate EH&S training, inductions, and refresher sessions.
- Liaise with external bodies (e.g., HSE, environmental agencies) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, emissions control, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and facilities teams to embed safety culture.
Skills & Experience:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
- Proven EH&S experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of UK legislation and ISO standards (ISO45001, ISO14001).
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office EH&S software ERP systems desirable).
