Role IntroductionReports to: Cloud & Platforms Senior Lead
As the Cloud and Platform Lead, you are responsible for providing deep technical expertise and judgements to define and implement technical solutions that support complex business needs.
You will work with IT Teams of different domains and manage IT professionals from infrastructure support to perform implementation, transition, change management, proactive maintenance and service request in accordance to ITSM process.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation, budgeting, review, and implementation of cloud infrastructure products and services.
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud), aligned with CPA standards.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expert-level (L3) support and acting as the key contact for incident resolution and service recovery.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects, SMEs, and delivery teams to design infrastructure solutions and drive implementation plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency within your domain.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL and ITSM frameworks, including change and configuration management processes.
- Act as Product Owner (PO) for product and service implementation projects, overseeing delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Be available to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure services when required.
RequirementsHold a technical degree with at least 8 years of IT experience, including 5+ years specializing in IT infrastructure.
Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and the ability to develop solutions independently with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively across diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, with confidence in presenting ideas and asking insightful questions.
Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, combining logic and creativity to troubleshoot and identify root causes.
Maintain a strong focus on user and customer needs, with the ability to manage expectations and understand user behavior.
Align tactical execution with strategic goals, showing adaptability and a proactive attitude toward change and innovation.
Show enthusiasm for emerging technologies and a proven ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and platforms.
Possess working knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks, ensuring structured and compliant service delivery.
Have hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft Windows, including system configuration, monitoring, security hardening, and patching.
Understand networking and storage fundamentals, with practical exposure considered a plus.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure services across platforms such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and GCP.
Utilize automation tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation, and Aliyun ROS for cloud deployment and administration.
Contribute to application development using CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, and Backstage.
Work within agile frameworks such as Scrum to support iterative development and team collaboration.
Communicate fluently in both English and Cantonese, ensuring effective interaction in a bilingual environment.
