- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of aviation experience on various types of general aviation aircraft.
- At least five (5) years of experience as a Chief Inspector or Quality Supervisor on Part 145 repair station projects involving maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
- A current FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license and FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) are required.
- Deep knowledge and extreme familiarity with all FAA rules and regulations is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, email, MS Excel, Word, and AD software. Familiarity with Quantum MX is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must possess a valid, current driver’s license.
Work Environment:
- Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasional hazards include moving machinery, elevated work areas, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The work environment can be noisy.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to walk, sit, and talk or hear.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
