Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $53.93-$58.93/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
   
Responsibilities:
 Participate in all phases of hardware development: requirements analysis, schematic capture, routing constraint definition, and PCB/PWB layout direction
  Support manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification activities for electrical hardware systems
  Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to deliver robust, high-performance solutions
  Guide layout and routing activities to ensure electrical performance and manufacturability
  Work with embedded processors, FPGAs, and fiber optic interfaces in high-speed design environments
   
Qualifications:
 - U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
  Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years
  Working knowledge of Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools
  Experience with circuit card design, including high-speed interfaces and packaging techniques
  On-site work or travel may be required depending on project needs
Preferred Qualifications:
 Electrical hardware design using Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition (schematic entry, constraint manager, HyperLynx SI/PI)
  High-speed, high-density circuit card design with embedded processors or FPGAs
  Experience designing with fiber optic interfaces
  Familiarity with advanced PCB materials, packaging techniques, and signal integrity constraints
  Proficiency using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers
  Strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle
