Job Description:
Job Summary: The Logistics Analyst III would support the compliance and import and export operations for the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate logistics performance, such as on-time delivery, transit times, and freight cost per unit
Prepare analytical reports to identify trends, cost-savings opportunities, and process improvements.
Support logistics audits and root cause analyses for non-conformance
Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, 3PLs and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and return of assets.
Optimize transportation modes, routes, and carriers to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
Monitor and resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and carrier performance issues.
Ensure all export and import activities comply with U.S. and international regulations, including EAR, ITAR, and local customs requirements.
Classify products under the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) when information is not available.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
Aerospace & Defense experience a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
At least 4-7 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
